Hungary's fixed broadband subscriptions up 12,000 to 2.967 mln in October

Hungary's number of fixed-line voice subscriptions grew slightly to 3.079 million in October from 3.078 million in September, according to a report from local telecom regulator NMHH. The total number of fixed broadband subscriptions rose by 12,000 to 2.967 million. The number of voice over cable lines increased to 1.058 million from 1.054 million, and the number of VoIP users decreased slightly to 1.627 million from 1.629 million. Landline connections continued to drop, reaching 270,889, down from 272,560 in September.
