IBM sells software products to India's HCL for USD 1.8 bln

IBM has sold some of its IBM software products to India's HCL Technologies for USD 1.8 billion. The deal includes Appscan, BigFix, Unica, Commerce, Portal, Notes & Domino and Connections. Together, the products represent a market worth over USD 50 billion. IBM will continue its ongoing IP partnership with HCL for five of the products.
