ICANN, IISI join efforts to promote internet awareness

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and the Lomonosov Moscow State University Institute of Information Security Issues (IISI) have signed a memorandum of understanding to join efforts to increase internet awareness inside Russia. The goal of the MoU is cooperation and information sharing on issues related to internet governance, IP addresses, and the DNS. To this purpose, ICANN and IISI will work to promote the exchange of information in the field of internet policy and security; promote the exchange of publications and documentation on current activities of each
