ICASA invites bids for MUX3 spectrum for digital subscription TV

The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) is inviting applications for radio frequency spectrum to provide commercial subscription broadcasting. The successful applicant will be assigned 45 percent capacity of the third multiplex (MUX3) to provide the service. This process is only open to holders of a commercial subscription television broadcasting service licence.
