Icasa plans hearings on draft sports broadcasting regulations

The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) will convene public hearings on the Draft Sports Broadcasting Services Amendment Regulations that were published on 14 December 2018. ICASA has received 39 written submissions, 28 of which have confirmed their availability for oral representations before the Committee of Council. The public hearings will be held from 27 to 31 May.
