ICASA rejects all five free-to-air TV licence applicants

Wednesday 16 March 2016 | 09:34 CET | News
The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) has rejected all five applicants for free-to-air television broadcasting licences, TechCentral reported. Grounds included foreign shareholding, ownership by historically disadvantaged individuals, corporate status and finances.
