The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) has announced plans to cut wholesale mobile call termination rates on 01 April to ZAR 0.20 per minute. The regulator had originally set 01 March as the implementation date, but on 19 February said it would delay this until 01 May to allow it to respond to an urgent application brought by MTN at the high court in Johannesburg, the Mail and Guardian reported.
