Ifetel to tender 2 geostationary satellite positions in 2014

Mexican telecoms regulator Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones (Ifetel) plans to launch a tender for two geostationary satellite positions in 2014. These two commercial satellites will leverage the C and Ku bands, and will be used for provision of communications services, including data, DTH, and corporate connections. The two satellite locations are 113 degrees west and 116 degrees west.
