IFT approves reference offers for wholesale services

Mexican telecommunications services regulator IFT has approved the proposed wholesale reference offers presented by America Movil's subsidiaries Telmex, Telnor and Telcel. The operators had presented wholesale offers for leased lines, access and passive infrastructure sharing in fixed networks, access and passive infrastructure sharing in mobile networks and mobile virtual network operators (MVNO) by request by the watchdog. The country's new telecoms law obliges dominant market players to reduce their market shares to below 50 percent. America Movil's mobile operator Telcel has a market
