IFT says Televisa has substantial power in pay-TV market

Thursday 30 April 2015 | 16:51 CET | News
Mexican telecom watchdog IFT issued a preliminary ruling stating that local broadcaster Televisa had obtained substantial power in 99 relevant markets in the pay TV market in Mexico following the acquisition of triple play operator Cablecom. Televisa was classed a dominant player in the public TV market in 2014.
