IMDA fines Starhub, M1 for broadband service disruptions

The Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) has announced it has concluded its investigations into the broadband service disruptions involving StarHub Online in April, and M1 Net in May this year. IMDA has imposed a financial penalty of SGD 210,000 on StarHub, and SGD 400,000 on M1, for contravening the Code of Practice for Telecommunication Service Resilience.
