Imdea launches new AI-based network research project

Tuesday 9 April 2019 | 16:49 CET | News
Madrid-based research institute Imdea Networks has announced a new 5G development project following the recent completion of the TIGRE5-CM initiative to deliver an SDN-based architecture. The new 4-year project, dubbed TAPIR-CM, aims to develop network architectures integrating artificial intelligence to make them simultaneously more agile and more robust. Users will benefit from enhanced service reliability as well as reductions in service failure incidents and a more robust response to any failures that do occur, said Imdea.
