Inatel develops 5G Long Range solution

The Brazilian research institute Inatel has developed a solution to bring 5G coverage to remote areas, reports Mobile Time. Named 5G Long Range, it is in process of patenting and the intention is to include it in Release 17 of the 3GPP 5G standard, which should be published between 2025 and 2026.
