India 4G tablet shipments jump 45% in Q3

Around 970,000 tablet PCs were shipped in India in this year's third quarter, which represents an increase of 2 percent quarter-on-quarter, according to a report from CMR. However, the figure represents a decrease of nearly 40 percent year-on-year. The 4G tablet segment saw a 45 percent growth in the third quarter. Lenovo ranked first with a 39 percent 4G tablet market share, followed by Samsung (30%) and iBall (17%). Meanwhile, the Wi-Fi enabled devices fell to around 20 percent.
