India adds 10.4 million mobile subscribers in Q3

The number of subscribers to phone services in India grew to 363.95 million at the end of October, from 353.66 million in September. According to figures from market regulator TRAI, the overall teledensity increased to 31.5 percent from 30.64 percent in September. In the mobile segment, 10.42 million subscribers were added in October, up from 10.07 million subscribers in September. The total mobile subscriber base was 325.73 million at the end of October. The wireline subscriber base decreased to 38.22 million at the end of October from 38.35 million. Total broadband connections in India
