India LTE device shipments near 16 million in Q1

More than 15.8 million LTE devices were shipped in India in the first quarter of 2016. The figure accounts for 63 percent of all mobile devices shipped in the quarter. Of the overall LTE device shipments, nearly 97.9 percent were smartphones, while 1.5 percent were data cards, and the remaining 0.6 percent were tablet PCs, according to a CMR report.
