India overtakes China as main mobile growth market

Asia has become the growth engine of the mobile ecosystem. India has overtaken China to become the mobile industry's key growth market. The Asian region is seeing a transition to a smartphone-powered 'mobile-first' internet, which is delivering a new generation of internet users, according to GSMA's inaugural 'Global Mobile Trends' report. The study also underscores the role of Artificial Intelligence and the IoT in ushering a new era of automation.
