Vodafone Idea has paid around INR 35 billion in taxes owed to the Indian state. The government earlier set Vodafone Idea's adjusted gross revenue (AGR) tax at INR 570 billion, The Economic Times reports. India's Supreme Court ordered a number of telecom companies last year to pay taxes owed to the government, worth billions of dollars.
