India's Intex to launch three mid-range handsets in Spain

Thursday 19 May 2016 | 14:58 CET | News
Indian handset maker Intex Technologies has announced the imminent launch of its first three smartphones in Spain at a presentation in Madrid, reports El Pais. Intex will offer a four-year guarantee in an attempt to break into the crowded market of mid-range devices. Citing GfK research that nearly half of the smartphones sold in Spain fall in the EUR 70-200 range, the report says Intex will offer the Aqua Prime 3G, Aqua Shine 4G and Aqua S9 Pro at EUR 125, EUR 155 and EUR 185 respectively.
