Indonesia suspends 83 mln prepaid lines for not registering

Indonesia's Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kominfo) said it's blocked around 83 million prepaid Sim cards in recent weeks, after the customers did not register their personal details with providers, reports Tempo.co. The blocking started in the third week of March has resulted in the suspension of 43 million Telkomsel prepaid numbers, 9 million at XL and 13 million at Hutchison 3 Indonesia.
