Indosat Ooredoo subscriber base declines 45% to 53.3 mln in Q1

Wednesday 1 May 2019 | 15:27 CET | News
Indosat Ooredoo customer numbers reduced by 45 percent year-on-year to 53.3 million at end March. The operator showed further signs of growth, leaving the negative impact of the Sim card registration regulation implemented in 2018 behind, its parent company Ooredoo said. In response to the new market dynamics in Indonesia, Indosat Ooredoo shifted from a push to a pull go-to-market strategy, leading to improved customer loyalty and lower churn rates.
