Indosat selects NSN to enhance 3G network

Nokia Siemens Networks has enhanced Indoensian mobile operator Indosat's mobile broadband network, providing DC-HSPA+ speeds of up to 42 Mbps. As part of the enhancement, Nokia Siemens Networks has provided its 3G network software to support up to 42 Mbps download speed. The vendor has deployed its SGSN to ensure traffic offload and Flexi Multiradio Base Station to facilitate a migration to LTE. While the network in Surabaya has already gone live at the end of May, the network in Medan will go live at the end of this month.
