Indra secures EUR 266 mln Riyadh transport e-ticketing deal

Spanish tech group Indra has been awarded a EUR 266 million contract to implement the entire e-ticketing and access control system for Riyadh's future public transportation network of six metro lines and 1,000 buses. In a statement, the company announced that ArRiyadh Development Authority had awarded it the contract after an international public tender involving 10 leading multinational companies. Indra described the deal as the biggest ticketing project in the world, to be completed in 54 months, including maintenance and technological assistance for 10 years. The company will roll out a
