Inexio, Deutsche Telekom to expand broadband in Freiburg

German regional provider Inexio announced plans to supply all households and companies in the districts and the suburbs of Freiburg with broadband within the next two years in cooperation with Deutsche Telekom. The two companies will bear the costs of the expansion themselves in order to connect 80 percent of households in Freiburg, mainly in the central parts, to speeds of 50 Mbps on average. Further away from the centre, in districts such as Tiengen, Hochdorf, St. Georgen, Vauban and Zaehringen, speeds will reach between 6 and 16 Mbps, and districts like the Tuniberg, Ebnet and Kappel area
