Inmarsat FY revenues lift 6% to USD 1.3 bln

Inmarsat reported full year revenues up 6 percent year-on-year to USD 1.278 billion, and EBITDA slipping to USD 643 million from 662 million, both exluding the settlement with LightSquared. The company said the decline was due mainly to reduced margins at the Inmarsat Solutions retail level and increased operating costs for Global Xpress at the Inmarsat Global wholesale level. The margins were affected by a range of factors including the impact of pricing changes at the wholesale level and the take-up of services such as XpressLink. Profit before tax fell to USD 294 million from 367 million,
