UK-based satellite communications provider Inmarsat reported first quarter revenues of USD 345.5 million, up 4.8 percent on the restated year-earlier result of USD 329.5 million. The revenue rise was driven by a 1.6 percent increase in maritime services to USD 142.0 million, a 39.0 percent surge in aviation services to USD 56.0 million and an 11.2 percent rise in enterprise services to USD 32.7 million, all of which offset a 9.0 percent contraction in government revenues to USD 78.3 million.
