Inmarsat signs cooperation agreement with China's CTTIC

Inmarsat said it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the China Transport Telecommunication & Information Centre (CTTIC). Under the deal, Inmarsat will deliver its Inmarsat-5 Global Xpress mobile satellite broadband connectivity throughout China, under the government's OBOR "One Belt One Road" vision. The MoU sets the foundation for Inmarsat and CTTIC to develop business opportunities in China and OBOR and to provide global aviation passenger connectivity and next generation safety services to Chinese airlines.
