Inmarsat to provide IIoT satellite connectivity to Teria network

Inmarsat has secured a contract to become the sole provider of satellite connectivity for the Teria network, which specialises in geo-location services using 200 GPS/GNSS stations across France. Teria was founded by French land surveyors' association OGE and has been managed since 2005 by the body's commercial branch, Exagone. Under the deal, Inmarsat's L-band constellation will provide the critical failover component of Exagone's communications network.
