Inphi sells memory business to Rambus

Inphi announced a definitive agreement to sell its memory product business to Rambus for USD 90 million in cash, including a 12.5 percent escrow. The sale is expected to close in the first half of Q3, the company said. The transaction will enable Inphi to focus its attention on the growing opportunity in communications markets and its products for high-speed connectivity and inter-data centre applications.
