Intel submits plan for USD 5 bln Kiryat Gat expansion

Intel has submitted a business plan for expanding its plant in Kiryat Gat to the Ministry of Economy and Industry, Globes reported. It has not published the timetable for its plan, the amount of investment or the equipment that will be installed in its expanded factory. Globes said the investment is "believed to be" about USD 5 billion and that Intel is likely to ask the Israel Investment Promotion Centre for grants and benefits under the Law for the Encouragement of Capital Investments.
