Friday 6 February 2015 | 15:41 CET | News
Intelsat, a provider of satellite services, and Kymeta, a developer of metamaterials-based antenna technology, announced an agreement to design and produce Ku-band mTenna satellite antenna products that are optimised for the Intelsat Epic high throughput satellite (HTS) platform. The first Intelsat Epic satellite is expected to launch in late 2015. Kymeta's satellite tracking antennas will be designed to work with Intelsat's satellite fleet.
