Internet banking users in Portugal triple in 14 years

The number of internet banking users has tripled in Portugal over the last 14 years, according to a study from Marktest Basef Banking. About 2.72 million Portuguese use internet banking, a figure that corresponds to 31.8 percent of the residents in the mainland aged 15 years and over and 36.9 percent of those who have a bank account.
