Internet Society elects five new members to board of trustees

The Internet Society, which recently announced new co-chairs to its organisational member advisory council, has now elected five new members to its board of trustees. The board has now been joined by Maimouna Diop (head of public relations at Sonatel), Ted Hardie (from Google's internet architecture), US computer scientist George Sadowsky, Laura Thomson (VP of Engineering at Fastly) and, Heather West (head of public policy for the Americas at Mozilla, succeeding Mieke van Heesewijk who resigned earlier this year.
