Internet use overtakes TV viewing for kids - Ofcom

Children's internet use has reached record highs, according to the latest report from Ofcom, which said kids 5-15 spend around 15 hours per week online, overtaking time spent watching TV for the first time and up by 1.18 hour from the year before. Pre-schoolers, aged 3-4, spend 8.15 hours per week online, from 5.48 hours last year. By contrast, children are spending less time watching TV set, with viewing declining to 13.36 hours from 14.48 hours last year.
