Internet.org Colombia visited 70,000 times on first weekend

Colombian operator Tigo has revealed that its joint social initiative with Facebook registered over 70,000 unique visits during the first weekend of its launch in Colombia. On 14 January Tigo announced an agreement with the social network to give its mobile subscribers access to a number of information, social media and government services without any data charges via the internet.org site. Tigo told website BNamericas that the www.tigo.com.co/internet.org landing page had registered 73,349 unique visits by 18 January. Colombia is only the fourth country in the world and the first in Latin
