Internet.org under fire for two-tiered access, security

Internet.org, a Facebook platform that allows free internet browsing over mobile devices, has come under attack from 67 digital rights groups worldwide for not doing enough to promote net neutrality as it expands access, the Guardian reported. 18MillionRising.org of the US, Europe's Free Press Unlimited, India's IT for Change and Nigeria's Paradigm Initiative are among the signatories, saying that Facebook is creating a two-tier internet, where the world's poorest people will only be able to access a limited set of insecure websites.
