Iranian regulator reaches preliminary agreement with streaming service providers

Iranian video streaming services and the state-run broadcaster IRIB have reached a preliminary agreement for regulating the distribution of multimedia content on the web, Financial Tribune reported. The initial agreement has been forged by the online service providers and the IRIB arm Digital Media Regulatory Authority, known by its Persian acronym Satra.
