Irish youth buy more when it's recommended by a blogger

The second part of 3 Ireland's Connected Ireland report looked at the way people connect with each other and found that bloggers and word of mouth are having a big influence on online sales. About 23 percent of the study's 1,000 respondents said they had bought something recommended by a blogger. The figure rose to 38 percent for 16-24 year-olds and 35 percent for 25-34 year-olds. Regarding dining out, 35 percent of diners now book restaurants online. Looking at word of mouth, over a fifth (21%) use their smartphone to review restaurants while 22 percent use them to rate their holiday
