ISPA welcomes probes into mobile data prices

South Africa's Internet Service Providers' Association (ISPA) has welcomed a probe into mobile data prices. The Competition Commission is expected to announce an inquiry into high mobile data prices by 01 September, said ISPA. In addition, the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) is expected to launch an inquiry into competition in the provision of broadband services in the near future.
