Istanbul Municipality taps Ericsson for smart city project

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) is teaming up with Ericsson for a smart city consultancy project. IMM and Ericsson will work together to achieve Istanbul's smart city vision and 2024 targets in collaboration with the Istanbul Informatics and Smart City Technologies (Isbak) company. IMM and Isbak aim to accelerate their efforts to reach the top 5 in the Global Cities index after advancing four positions to the 25th spot in 2016.
