Italian fixed broadband lines up to 16.8 mln in Q1

Monday 23 July 2018 | 09:52 CET | News
Lines offering data transfer speeds of over 30 Mpbs made up 31.2 percent of the total at the end of March, overtaking the slowest lines offering under 10 Mbps. There were a total of 5.7 million high-speed fixed broadband lines at the end of March, thanks principally to the growth of FTTC and FTTH connections. Agcom said there were 3.2 million lines delivering speeds of between 30 and 100 Mbps, up 1.25 million from a year earlier, while lines offering 100 Mbps or better totalled 2.1 million, up 1.19 million.
