Italian GDP rises 15.9% in Q3, falls 5.0% YoY

Italy's gross domestic product rose by 15.9 percent in the third quarter of 2020 compared to the previous three months, according to the latest data from state statistics agency Istat that revised down the previous reading of 16.1 percent. On an annual basis, third quarter GDP was also revised down to show a 5.0 percent decline compared with the 4.7 percent fall of the preliminary reading.
