Italian ICT spending to increase 0.6% by end-2014 - study

The Italian ICT market will turn the corner in 2014 and reverse the 4.4 percent drop in revenue recorded in 2013, according to the latest report from industry group Assinform. The report predicts that ICT spending will in fact rise by around 0.6 percent compared to successive drops of 2.1 percent, 1.8 percent and 4.4 percent seen in the past three years. Growth areas such as cloud computing, e-commerce and the internet of things (IoT) are expected to push up ICT revenues over the coming months.
