Italy's consumer price index (CPI) dipped again to an annual rate of 0.9 percent in November compared to 1.0 percent the previous month, according to preliminary data from statistics agency Istat. Core inflation, which excludes fresh food and energy prices, fell by 0.1 of a percentage point to 0.4 percent due above all to a decline in the cost of recreation transport services. The Italian harmonised index of consumer prices (HICP) was up 1.1 percent on an annual basis and fell 0.2 percent compared to October, said Istat.
