Italian internet domain celebrates 25 years

Twenty-five years ago, the first Italian internet domain (cnuce.cnr.it) was registered in Pisa. With this, Registro.it was created, the registry of Italian internet domains that operates within the Institute of Informatics and Telematics of the National Research Council, which now has over 2.4 million domain names registered, with the suffix .it. As a result, the Italian internet domain is the tenth largest in the world and the fifth largest in Europe.
