Italian ISP threatens to disconnect illegal downloaders

An unnamed ISP in a northern Italian region has sent out emails threatening to disconnect customers for illegally downloading copyrighted films, reports Italian daily La Repubblica. The provider, which the report said is modest in size, has received a number of warnings from leading US studios regarding the legal consequences of continuing to allow its customers to download or share copyrighted content.
