Italian parliament publishes internet bill of rights

A commission made up of 13 experts and 10 members of parliament set up by Laura Boldrini, the speaker of the Italian Chamber of Deputies, has published a draft version of an internet bill of rights designed to protect the freedom of all citizens online and regulate internet use. The 14 rules set out in the draft include the "right to identity", the "criteria for internet governance" and the "right to equal access to the internet".
