Italian regulator says still no decision on online copyright

Italy's Communications Authority (AgCom) has not yet taken any decision to regulate online copyright, nor has it looked into the subject. So said AgCom commissioner, Antonio Preto, in a statement following local press reports on the matter. Preto said AgCom's' reflection on the subject has just begun and it will continue in the coming weeks, through public initiatives that aim to collect opinions, suggestions and tips for dealing with the issue, which he called both complex and delicate. He added that, with this in mind, a workshop has been organised for 24 May in Rome with the participation
