Italian retail sales rise 0.7% in June, up 7.7% YoY

Italy's retail sales increased by 0.7 percent in value terms in June compared to May and by 0.6 percent in volume, according to the latest seasonally-adjusted data from national statistics office Istat. On an annual basis, not seasonally-adjusted, sales were up 7.7 percent in value, led by a 23.7 percent jump in online sales.
