Italy's private investment fund (FII) has joined forces with private equity association AIFI to launch VentureUp, described as a 'one-stop shop' portal for startups that want to get in touch with venture capitalists to implement their projects. The initiative, which also has the backing of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP), Invitalia, BonelliErede and KPMG contains a number of useful tools for new startups, including videos, links and online chats with experts. In addition, an area called Marketplace allows startups to propose their projects to potential investors.
